Summit participants misinterpret Ukraine situation–Putin’s spox

MILAN, Italy, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- Some participants of the Asia-Europe summit, where European leaders have met, completely misunderstand the events happening in the south-east of Ukraine, Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday.

“Unfortunately, I should note that some participants have demonstrated a complete unwillingness to understand the real situation in the south-east of Ukraine,” Peskov said.

But negotiations on the Ukrainian crisis are advancing despite the disagreements, he said. “Negotiations are really difficult, full of disagreement, full of misunderstanding. Nevertheless, they are still going ahead, there is an exchange of opinions.”
